I don't know why whe would have jumped except if she thought there was no way out any other way. Fire would be the only explanation I can think of.

with fire or heat? That's backward. I think she was standing there and that it was not fake because she shows up in a variety of still and taped images, tiny and close up. Sometimes waving, sometimes standing, her relatives said, yep, that would be her, that is what she'd do. There is also taped footage and testimony of people literally get blown out of buildings, obviously because of charges or explosions being set off. There was the construction worker whose buddy he watched get "blown out" the window and the footage of the guy waving the white shirt get popped.

Ya know, despite whoever caused this, the Port Authority and Giuliani are guilty of criminal negligence in the way there was no escape from those upper floors. What a fvcking hell of a way to die. In the '93 bombing, they rescued over a hundred from the roof in helicopters. But they were instructed not to and the doors were locked BY POLICY. Also, the Port Authority told them to stay out and not go downstairs. The reason I know this is because the head of security for Marsh McLennon (critical of the war, a former vet & critical of Port Authority, & like John O"Neill, died that day) Rescurlo, I think his name was. His wife recounted his reaction when he was told the P.A. was telling people to stay in their offices, he blew up and started swearing at them then went to get people down, then guess what? he died. I think he found out from home because his wife recounts this, why was he at home? Was he given the day off?

OTOH, maybe it's just a silly college fraternity. It has a lot of high powered members, but that's because it is a very exclusive university. It sounds like Bushler spent his college years drinking, so I wonder if they would really trust him with that much "secret information".

I did read that S&B has some sort of bond where they will do anything for one another in the future. there's some sort of fund or something, i don't remember the details, but it did feel like there was not a substantial choice with those two, although Kerry was a lot more palatable. He received poor advice in that election and I suspected that some of his advisors might be working against him. Like the "Reporting for Duty" was a terrible mistake. Nonetheless, I think the election was stolen. There's no way wewould be in this mess with Kerry or Gore. The corporations have got them both by the balls that's the problem with democrats and republicans.

I take exception to the "Clinton's lies" comment in the first one. It made it sound like he was found guilty of many, when the truth is he wasn't found guilty by the Senate of lying under oath, neither he nor Hillary faced Whitewater indictments, etc. He did lie when he wagged his finger at the nation, true, and I am disappointed in him for that as well as the reason for it. Truth be told though, I'm more disappointed in him for getting NAFTA passed. It has a direct impact on the citizenry of more than one country, whereas adultery... Yech. Whatever. Let Hillary take care of that.

More to the point, the video did show just how little money or concerted attention has been spent in trying to get to the truth of what happened September 11th, especially in comparison to how much was spent hounding the Clintons for eight years, and the comparison is an important and telling one.

The second vid is devastating. The song is one I remember from when it was first released; it's an amazing choice for the soundtrack.

I wouldn't have connected the jumper to the woman standing in the impact hole if no one had mentioned it. In fact, I backed up and paused to identify the image because my brain refused to process it the first time around. In spite of other pictures I've seen, at first I didn't even recognize a person there where no person should be.

I had hoped and wished she'd gotten out too. :cry:

The other images chosen, especially of the children and the banner that said, "Iraqi children ask: what have we done?" break my heart. Was it WWI or WWII when ordinary citizens became the unspoken yet accidentally-on-purpose specifically targeted 'collateral damage' for bombs rather than 'just' seige?
