We must say they are trying to CUT Social Security.

None of this "reform" or "privatization" shit.

CUT. CUT. CUT.

Also mention ENRON.

1. GUT!!!
they are trying to GUT SS

Better yet, they are trying to destroy SS -- this has the benefit of actually being accurate and true as well.

This isn't just cutting , it is gutting and destroying.

But I'm with you Mike, this has to be all out war, the Dems need to shout the TRUTH about what the Bushies are doing.

5. gutting social security does seem to be their goal
they'll have their usual song-and-dance talking points just like they did with their war on terror, and once again, they will exploit 9/11.

Someone on a radio talk show brought up that this administration's wreckless spending for the war and the mismanagement of resources seemed to indicate that the Bush misAdministration was deliberately trying to force a fiscal crises in government -- for the excuse to cut/gut social security. I thought it was an excellent point.

This administration has created their own alternate universe. It's as if they are writing a screen play to sell for profit rather than governing with actual global realities.

3. "The House Always Wins"
This line from Casino, is my favorite response to entreaties such as this one that attempt to con American families into investing themselves in the stock market.

Just like in the Nineties tech boom, there was a lot of marketing of the stock market to people who didn't really understand it.

Institutional investors win at the end of the day, just like at the Casino.

Thanks for playing, come again soon.

4. Another creepy point:
Once your name's on the account, no Congress will be able to TOUCH mean-testing or numerous other proposed remedies in the future. I suspect the accounts will also be assets which can be inherited, as well--

Borrow Trillions now to fix something that's not broken? No thank you.
