Why Are Christian Conservative Cowards?

They whine about being persecuted (translation: no one will let us force our religion on you). They whine about Christmas displays, they whine about their lack of ability in this country to do away with homosexuals; they whine about the teaching of evolution; they whine about hollywood liberals and what they produce and yet for all their whining the badass christians led by radical clerics don't do anything about. May I suggest to Falwell and his ilk, if he wants to replace the Constitution with the Bible that he and his kind declare war against the USA. Christian Conservatives have positioned themselves as enemies of this country. Unless they are just fat assed ignorant red state cowardly bubbas they should now walk like they talk. To quote one of your gods, bring it on.

I just think they whine and pretend to be upset to shut down any voices that disagree with them. I think it is all BS. I heard 2 callers to that pig Hannity's radio show yesterday say how great their towns are because there are no Muslims or atheist complaining about Xmas decorations. I was astounded at how stupid and racist they sounded and that criminal Oliver North just agreed with them.

I think God hates what these people do to religion.

That it's somehow desireable that the United States should become the next Rome or Babylon.

They also whined like victims as they controlled everything and persecuted brutally those who they said were their persecutors.

Of course, the Bushevik aren't similar to the Nazis YET, but they are definitely Second Cousins together in the Family of Totalitarian Bootlickers.

they think by professing their "faith" they've done all that needs doing . . . it's a cheap way to salvation, if you ask me, because as long as they've "accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior," their actions don't seem to matter to them . . .

as Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh puts it, what matters "is not a matter of faith; it is a matter of practice" . . . but not for these folks . . . having declared themselves "saved," they somehow feel free to ignore the teachings of Jesus and support illegal wars; hate Muslims, liberals, and homosexuals; excuse torture; praise the death penalty; want to see the homeless just go away; and consider abortion the sin above all others . . . but how many of them have opened their homes to adoptable children? . . .

this profession of faith by these "enlightened" souls is as phoney as a three dollar bill (see George Bush for a prime example) . . . when evangelical Christians start following the New Testament -- instead of picking and choosing their favorite sins from the Old to call others on -- then they might garner some respect from me . . . until then, they're just a bunch of hypocrites . . . and of the worst kind . . .

there are many christians who are content to believe their religion and do not try to shove it up the ***** of everyone else.
Christianity is a religion based on fear (You're gonna go to Hell when you die unless you accept Jesus), and fear based people demonize others to establish control, and create a cult of being persecuted (like Republicans do)to keep their cohorts in line....in line to fork over the money.
