a new word for * friendly dems: neodems
Edited on Sat Dec-25-04 08:04 AM by ixion
Neodems would be the people who are pushing for yet another shift to the right, and support neocons foreign policy.

Any thoughts?

Good examples of neodems would be:

Joe LIEberman.
Zell 'neocon' Miller

You know who I'm talking about. ;-)

1. Hey...you copped my word!
But that's okay...I'd like to see it catch on in the lexicon.

Neocons and Neodems. Can't have one without the other.

more like it. Why dignify the likes of Lieberman and Miller with title, "Democrat", at all? It doesn't make sense - any more than calling Blair, the corporatists' corporatist, a Socialist or a Labourite. Trojan horses, cuckoos. Northern boll weevils, come to think of it!

Hadn't seen it used yet.

7. Nah...Neoliberal sends a confusing message...
...because those unaware of history or politics will automatically associate true liberalism with the neoconservative ideology.
