Tom Delay insinuates Tsunami victims died because they are not Christians
http://movies.ziaspace.com/Delay1.wmv

Ummm...what the hell is wrong with this inhuman, ex-cockroach killer...why is he in a position of power?

He reads this passage off the Bible that seems to insinuate that the Tsunami victims died because they weren't good Christians...Alan Colmes followed up on it, and put Pat Robertson on the spot.

And you thought it was just cooky theocrats like Rev. Phelps...oh....noo....it's Tom Delay too!

Yeah, we look silly because a handful of us have the crazy notion that the earthquakes were man-made.

But Tom DeLay says God did it to punish them for not being Christian, and we're the ones ridiculed by The O'Loofah Factor.

Oh, yeah.

We're the kooks?

32. Since I read and do not have cable TV, I am sometimes forced to picture
people and events. I probably have seen a picture of DeLay, but I cannot remember it. Because everytime I hear the name, I picture Vincent D'Onofrio (cannot spell his last name) in Men In Black driving around in Pest Control van. It is driving me crazy.

Anyone else have that problem, or should I just check in somewhere.

Wait, the media window opened. Sorry, I just watched. Still see Roachman from MIB.

8. Then we must assume that no Christians died.
But if a single Christian turns up among the 100,000+ dead, I guess that proves Bug-Man wrong, since why would God kill one of his valuable Chosen People just to wipe out a bunch of worthless, non-Christian furriners?

Seriously, the very existence of an odious lump of dung like Tom DeLay makes me doubt the existence of a just, merciful and rational God.

18. Now wait a minute... Doesn't Pat Robertson have missionaries worldwide?
Every day on the 700 Club, Pat's always telling us about some brown-skinned person in a foreign land somewhere who left his heathen religion to find JC and to pay Pat his $60 a month or whatever the standard contribution is these days.

So clearly the Bugboy's wrong. There were Christians over there as well as Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, and probably a handful of Jews on vacation. Probably some atheists even, though they might have changed their affiliation when they saw those waves coming :(

One thing for the Sugarland Shitforbrains to ponder, however......

There were a number of Buddhist temples in the area of devastation which remained standing despite the carnage surrounding them. In fact some ended up being used as temporary hospitals and morgues.

How does Delay explain these heathen structures surviving "God's wrath"??

that said the shooting at Columbine was the result of teaching evolution in schools.

Columbine shooting spurs attack on evolution. The tragedy at Columbine High School leads to a general outcry that teenagers in America have lost their moral bearings. In Congress, conservative Republican Rep. Tom DeLay of Texas links this moral decline specifically to the teaching of evolution: "Our school systems teach the children that they are nothing but glorified apes who are evolutionized out of some primordial soup." DeLay's accusation, while outrageous to many, expresses a common fear anti-evolutionists have voiced for two centuries.

22. Delay must also have regular conversations with God...
so who are we to doubt it? It is widely known,
and accepted that God talks to Repub Christians
frequently, since they are the only Murkans to
have morals.

But I digress...

Since what Delay says is obviously fact, why are
we helping the Muslim victims? Surely, God would
want as many to die as possible to emphasize His
point?

The hundreds of million dollars would be much better
spent in re-enforcing our armed services. Many of
those heathens will need a little encouragement to
see the true way.

And that brings to mind a couple more questions:
Will God hold a grudge against those who are standing
in the way of Christianity by offering aid?

Will Pat Robertson mention my name on his program and
pray for my salvation if I choose to donate to the relief
efforts, or do I stand a better chance if I just send him
the money directly?

I'm so confused.

All I needed was his "shame, shame" speech today.

I knew nothing about him previously, but his calling a procedure written into the constitution "criminal" and "dangerous" really pisses me off.

29. Internment camps?
I was just reading in the paper that one of the neo-con "intellectuals" is pushing for wholesale relocation of American citizens of Muslim faith to be rounded up in internment camps, ala the Japanese American camps of WWII.
It is absolutely amazing to me that these crazies are still using 9/11 hysteria to push racist ideas. In DeLay's little speech today, he accused the Democrats of aiding terrorists, trying to bring down our government, and having sex with goats.
The only thing more amazing to me--and depressing--is the lethargy of the American people. My god, if we could only have a little bit of the Ukrainian people's passion! But nearly every person I talk to, even if they voted for Kerry, is ready to admit defeat and rejoin the flock of sheep. In my opinion, the worst thing that Kerry did was give people hope that he would stand with us to the end. Why do you think there was such record voter turnout everywhere? People were voting for hope. Now that it's been so totally stomped on, I'm hearing alot of, "I'll never vote again", "I'm done with the Democrats", or the worst, "I'm just tired of it all".........

31. It Was More Stupid Than Anything...
Those folks lived where they lived because they were too poor to live anywhere else...

Look at folks who build their homes in hurricane prone coastal areas.... They are taking the same risk but they are usually rich enough to have insurance and to get the hell out days before the hurricane arrives..
