I suppose we have time differences; I'm on the Left Coast. I am going to BUY this show; it is the best 9/11 stuff I have ever seen.

3. Yes I saw it
It was good. I have questioned the History Channel before, and assumed they had a conservative bias. But this was a great show.

4. Just looked on their website - it's called The 9/11 Commission Report
Guess the title kinda speaks for itself huh? Here's the summary from their webpage:

The 9/11 Commission Report
Released July 22, 2004, one of the most significant findings of the 9/11 Commission Report is that a number of opportunities existed prior to that tragic day to disrupt the plot. The 500-plus page document by a bipartisan federal panel was the result of months of research and testimony that was spurred on by families of the victims and largely opposed by the Bush Administration. We learn about the findings from those who testified, those who wrote the report, and from the Commissioners themselves. cc

7. Basically
it's shown how and over how the * Admin ignored warning after warning. Not to mention, it debunks the idea that Clinton bombed Afghanistan to creat a diversion from the Lewinsly scandal. He too had been warned about Bin Laden and was trying to get rid of him.

16. Emphatically stated--No connection between 9/11 and Iraq
The writers of the show deserve a medal for putting that in so explicitly.

What I took away from it was that Bush was not doing anything about terrorism since he took office. Richard Clarke stated that. There was CIA Director Tenet running around with his 3 ring binder for a month, but the incompetents in the Bush administration would not direct all of the executive departments to tie together all these facts, such as known terrorists taking flight training (the Phoenix memo).

Too bad they did not run this in October.

9. Fine. If you watch it, make sure you are well-read...
That is to say, make sure you are well-read on the subject matter. You will be surprised how many things that they leave out that bring the 9/11 Commission Report itself into question. Furthermore, there also some noteworthy embellishments and omissions from events leading up to, during, and following September 11, 2001. The program never truly addresses the issues that the report failed to tackle, nor does it bring the glaring mistakes of the Bush administration into the full light of day. In short, the program is a glossing-over of the truth and does not fully attack the issue of massive failures in the executive branch in taking the steps necessary before and during 9/11 to curtail such an attack. Anyone who has not really delved into research about 9/11 would be impressed with the program, but if you have read about it extensively, you will be very disappointed.
