CBS news under attack by the GOP corporate media
amazing that the Whie House paying a columist 240k to spread lies barely makes a blip in the news cycle, but this makes massive headlines.

Until we get this media thing udner control is just doesnt matter, folks.

4. Those in the know and those that do not know
What the public does not know matters most to those in the know. Unfortunately, those in the know is such a minority.

6. I've been saying since '00: We can't win until we can compete in the media
WE might pull off an upset here or there, but the republicans are winning almost every news cycle. We get a story in the news, sure, but don't get the saturation coverage of stories that are favorable to us like the repugs do. Perfect example is the Armstrong Williams case vs. this CBS story.

Had Clinton or Gore or Kerry done that it would have garnered MASSIVE coverage. But it hasn't because we don't have our guys pounding this story relentlessly, and then tying it to some other issues of concern to us.
