Media won't call GOP booers out for their LACK OF CLASS.
Edited on Thu Jan-20-05 11:14 AM by blm
less than 2 weeks after the election, Democrats in the audience for Clinton's libraby opening did not boo Bush.

Republican ASSHOLES at an Inauguration ceremony boo the Democratic candidate TWO EFFIN' MONTHS LATER for showing up as a Senator is supposed to. The IMPROPIETY of the booing at an inauguration is ASTOUNDING. These people were up front in the perimeter so they had to be ticketed guests.

FOCK those ASSHOLE Republicans and FOCK the media who doesn't have the nerve to speak the truth - Those booers were OBNOXIOUS and CLASSLESS and and don't have an OUNCE of real patriotism amongst them.

3. Sheesh, they can't
even be graceful winners. Nothing is enough for them, it seems. And can you imagine the shitstorm if someone HAD booed Bush at Clinton's library dedication? But no, we're the amoral, classless ones!

5. The media would have attacked Democrats RELENTLESSLY for weeks
and the GOP Congress would have had an investigation to get the names of everyone who booed.

The media lets the Republicans treat the country and its Democratic citizens like ASHTRAYS and garbage bins without batting an eyelash.

4. Oh, they have class, all right. It's called low class.
Good to see the MSM covering it, though. It lets the world know how low America has sunk.

6. The media ISN'T covering it except as a negative against Kerry.
They haven't said a word about the impropriety of the Republican booers.

in a "How dare Kerry show his face"/"He deserves it for even showing up" way.

Edited on Thu Jan-20-05 11:25 AM by blm
It was OBNOXIOUSLY rude and inappropriate, yet the media pundits acted as if it WAS appropriate and expected.

I don't recall it EVER happening before.

on the astounding impropriety.

The media is SO complicit, coddling and excusing the utter nastiness from the Bushmoonies.

14. Mark Leibovich of The Washington Post...
...wrote an article on a Bush stump speech in which he pointed out that the carefully screened Bush supporters present hurled abuse at JOHN MCCAIN, a fellow Republican and Bush supporter. It was one of the few articles that effectively conveyed the utter mean-spiritedness and division on which Bush and his ilk operate.

And I'm not surprised that the well-fed, well-paid, vicious crowds of Bush supporters booed Kerry this time out. This is how they do this. This is how they operate.

This is how empty and soulless and classless and graceless they are.

18. A sad legacy of hate radio, in my opinion.
Republicans feel that they can spew hate and outrage at anyone, at any time. Remember "Get out of Cheney's house" during the 2000 election debacle? They are utterly without class.

Geez, the Democrats would have been investigated and fingerprinted for days while the yakkers screamed bloody murder for weeks afterwards.

37. Dems had the opportunity to boo Bush at the Clinton library. They didn't.
They showed their class and respect for appropriate behavior at a ceremony that was far more casual than today's inauguration.

Protesters flipping off and booing the military trucks as they drove by. That does not help us.

I'm sorry but I had to vent on this. I hate this President and the war ut I have friends in Iraq and I would NEVER flip off soldiers.

Protest areas are completely different than the actual perimeter of the inaugural ceremony.
