3. If I'm not mistaken....
they are going to cover the Senate debate on Rice. Which they HAVE to do. C-SPAN2 covers every second of the Senate.

9. Correct. Senators are speaking about a number of cabinet nominations
right now and C-SPAN2 is obliged to cover it.

Don't bother complaining to C-SPAN. They spent all day so far covering the protesters. Now that the Senate's in session there will be speeches regarding these cabinet nominations, including the Rice nomination, and it may even be more interesting than the coverage over the past two days, as this is the full Senate.
