I hope there are lots of Bush voters watching Kerry on CSPAN
and I hope they're feeling really low because they realize they voted for the wrong man. It's so obvious that Kerry understands what he's saying and actually cares about real people. *sigh* What could have been..

8. Don't think so
There did seem somewhat a tone of sadness, coupled with almost defiance instead of the incredible wistful optimism at the end of the campaign. (polite defiance)

9. Well he's certainly trying to do more good for the country
Actually since bushit does nothing good for the country, that's not too difficult. Kerry should be President.

Ha ha?

6. I'm amazed, looking at Kerry, as to how Bush could be President again

7. Same reaction
Kerry seems to be everything a reasonable person would want in a president. Caring, intelligent, articulate and knowledgable. Could you picture Bush articulating a plan in this detail? Or creating a plan to solve a problem people have. I loved seeing Kerry speak, but it kind of makes it sadder that he's not president.

12. Rove shook voters out of every church they could with the gay marriage
scare and the illusion that Bush wanted to make abortion illegal.

Democrats really should go on the ATTACK against the faux religiosity of the GOP at some point. If they don't, there will ALWAYS be an issue to inflame the churchworld.

14. Yea, too bad Kerry didn't live in the South
and speak with a Southern accent. He would have more of us here in the South.

17. Thanks. I hope I can catch it on television, though.
The little screens for downloading things online are mighty small for me to see.

And, the sloooooow connection here outside of Elgin, Texas make downloading from the internet downright painful

If you hear when it might be on C-SPAN again, I'd love to know.

15. great speech
I just finished watching my president's speech on cspan...wow. Like many of you have said, when you watch him you can't help but wonder what happened. He is so presidential, so articulate, clear plans and then you have the disaster that had the press conference yesterday. The one who makes you cringe and want to move to another country.

For the next four years.. God help us... I will just get through by watching my president in anything I can. I was disappointed when he conceeded but understand so much better now. I still support him. I volunteered endlessly, I voted and I will stand by him today.

18. Most of the broadcast media disagreed with you.
They said Kerry flip-flopped, had no coherent plans, and Bush owned the terror issue. Just as Rove scripted.

19. i think they should have done more advertising in places like rural areas
especially radio ads. i think if they had known the amount of money they would raise they would have done it .

while it's unlikely Kerry would have won most of the rural votes , i think some advertising in those areas would have chipped away at the support Bush got. the election was close enough that these small things would have made a difference in Kerry's favor.

22. like hell
I bet a lot of third party and non-voters are kicking themselves pretty hard.

You know, sometimes the choices suck. But when the choice is weakly doing good versus strongly doing evil, the choice should be clear.

whatever, I voted for Kerry and so did most of my family and friends. He won both my states: PA and NY.
