3. These are the images of Bush's war that all of America must see
...nothing short of this kind of exposure is going wake America up to the fact that this war must end now.

Remember what General Dwight D. Eisenhower did to the people living in the German communities and towns that surrounded the Nazi death camps?

He ordered all of the German citizens living near those death camps walk past the piles of mostly Jewish corpses and look at the atrocities that they allowed their political and military leaders to commit through the war machine and troops that the German people built and supported.

5. Stories that imply that our effort to spread democracy causes
human anguish, innocents to die amongst the Iraqis is treasonous stuff that encourages the insurgents.:sarcasm: MSM gives token acknowlegement to the true degree of suffering caused the * Iraqi adventure with the same sincerity as the pre game pledge of allegiance.
It's another day and another chance to push the lie. Play Ball!

6. I give a damn. NOT IN MY NAME.
These pictures are not new to me but they're heartrending all the same. The Iraqi people depended on us for a while to free them, really free them. Look at what we've done to these poor people. They were lied to just like our soldiers were lied to, and misery and death are the result.

I've never been so ashamed of my government...I honestly never imagined the US government could carry out so many heinous and criminal acts with impunity. We have LAWS!! But BushCo has been a horrific lesson in mob politics for me. As an Independent I was none too pleased about some of what Clinton did either, though I didn't take it near as seriously as the a$$es on the Right did. And that PALES in comparison to what those monsters are doing now they're in power, sitting on their fat keesters and smiling at the crimes they're letting their Repuke Prez get away with.

MURDERERS. TRAITORS. ONE AND ALL. Republicans are a scourge on America.

7. We should use these photos in our protests....DC and elsewhere.
We don't have to wait for the torture photos ang tapes to be released to show the horror of war. Yes we should pressure for them, but until then, we have a lot to show the world!

8. I've visited that site many times.
I can only stay for a while each time. I get so angry, sad, and depressed each time I visit, so I keep the doses within my tolerance levels. I keep going back, though, take what I can, retreat, and return. I sent along the website to my mailing list today with the following note:
...If you would really like to know what is going on in Iraq, visit this website.
http://dahrjamailiraq.com/index.php
It is a large website, with many avenues to explore. If you have the interest, I think you'll find a split-second hour has passed. It may not be the most pleasant hour you've spent in your life, but truth often hurts, and pretending it doesn't exist, does not make the truth any less true...
