The SIX BILLION DOLLARS a month we are spending in Iraq
would sure come in handy in LA, MS and AL now, wouldn't it??

Somebody in another thread said something about the country being able to 'connect the dots'. Does anybody think that people will be able to figure out that if you cut taxes and wage a heinously expensive war at the same time, there isn't any money left over for disaster relief or infrastructure support?

1. This is only lesson #1.
There's more to come. Much more.

3. HA! He went to a fundraiser last night and took most of today
before somebody decided his vacation would wrap up early. b*sh will never be convinced to change the course. But Congress... different story. They face more elections.

4. Hell, not even I am THAT optimistic...
I just want more of the people of this country to figure out that these people are a bunch of putzes.

How can we make them SEE? How can we encourage the MSM to at least MENTION the way this administration has gutted the budget of the Army Corp of Engineers?? That they have gutted Clinton's disaster mitigation fund? How do we let somebody other than us here at the DU know this stuff? And how do we negate assholes like Limpballs who say we are 'whining' for political reasons??

5. Maybe we should set aside a Friday when
as many DUers as possible would flood the phone lines into Rush's program. If we did that every day, he'd have a damned cow.
