Jeez! Denver is also in a bowl and gets a brown-cloud effect during the winter. When we have temperature inversions in this area, we get major air quality deterioration. The air around here is going to be choking.
Forget heating homes with wood. We'll have more red days than ever. And with natural gas heating predicted to go up, this is going to be bad. Ethenol gasoline is sold in winter but I don't think it will do enough to help with a relaxing of existing regulations.
