Notice How Today The MSM Is Reporting How Iraqi Troops Are...
fighting along side the U.S. troops. In fact they are leading the charge and the U.S. troops are there only for back-up.

Funny - how this reporting would come only a day after *'s 'victory' speech.

Another example of the 'Choreographed President and The Choreographed War'.

1. I quess we are going to have to stop supporting MSM, and stick to Internet
They make the TV News a SHOW so idiots can injest just what they need them to hear.
On the internet, you have to do your homework, and cross-check stories. Not for the "Sheeple" types.

2. Liberal media
my ass. All we ever get is little tidbits every once in a while. Otherwise, the stories on the MSM are pro bush, pro republican, and obviously biased.

4. Nice to be thought of as stupid by fearless leader. Nice to be led
by morons who don't even acknowledge some of the greatest military minds we have... nice to be locked into an episode of the twilight zone with the only way out (perhaps) being a visa to a foreign nation that doesn't have a madman at the helm.

5. A reporter on Imus this morning in Iraq said the Iraqis don't know who
they are fighting for. If this is, and I think it is, the case what loyalty does any Iraqi have to his country when he or she has no idea who is running it or what the hell they are fighting for. The Iraqis aren't leading anything and won't be for a long time. Just like our so called president.

6. Actually, they've been reporting this......
for the last few weeks now BUT, as you say, in conjunction with bush's speeches and Reich-Wing talking points that the Iraqi's are taking the lead ( ) in defending their country.
If that's the case then I guess we should see significant reductions in American troop levels any time now, right? :eyes:

8. Right-O .... And Just In Time For The '06 MidTerm Elections....
where all the kudos will go to * and his 'victory' plan that he delivered yesterday. You'll be seeing snippets of that speech in political commercials for Repugs all over the U.S.

The real war is for control of the Senate and House.

In the meantime I want to wish all you DU'ers a:

9. Are they showing any footage of the
Iraqi fighters leading the fight? I don't watch the news shows but I am curious if they are showing these Iraqi batallions. I guess I should peek in now and again but it almost seems like a cheesy sales pitch when I do.

10. They're astounded that the spin keeps failing
They spin and spin and spin, and the war just keeps going on as it goes on, immune to their nonsenses, walled off from their rhetorical flourishes, impregnable, sturdy, impervious, and exempt.

The right wing and the media have a thousand and one slogans, a million mythologies, an extensive repertoire of fanciful delusions, a crowd of salespitches - more words than the blood they've spilled can cover, an ocean of words, a galaxy of lies.

Against this Multitude, the War has only one slogan, and it is the stronger one. It goes like this:

Welcome to the desert of the Real...
