I refuse to subscribe to the culture of victimization that plagues
Edited on Thu Dec-01-05 08:18 AM by underpants
white males in this country. I don't believe that the poor and the powerless have organized to screw me over.

-That's my political creed and my new qualifier in all discussions of politics.

You may not resume your lives.

1. Hear, hear
I'll go a bit farther - if the poor and powerless ever do team up to screw me over, they should give me a call and I'll send some money.

I deserve a good screwing over.

3. Thank you
for not being the insufferable white male I usually encounter in my daily travels.

I think that's the reason I never got married - I couldn't stand the goddamn whining.

6. What they are afraid of is the internet. And that information may be
so good and so close at hand to the consumer - that corporations become useless.

Afterall corporations came about as a tool to manage trade across seas.

They keep calling consumers the "enemy" and "useless". Perhaps they are just afraid of the inevitable. When people can call up their local co-op and get fruits and veggies delivered from a farmer in Zimbabwe.

That's my latest theory.

That they studied the issue - and came to the conclusion corporations had to turn into a religion. Because when the consumers the world over have all the information - why would they give a corporation profit?
