If Democrats can win the Congress, they will win the Presidency..
Because voters usually vote for the top of the ticket when they vote for their choice for Congress. A very small percentage will vote for a Republican Congressman and for a Democratic President. Why is this important?

There is a poll that is out that shows about 80% of the people believe a Democratic Congress would be preferable if the election were today. That is the weak link in the Republican Party. We need to think very seriously our strategy but we should not dismiss this reality.

Republicans are very good with their PR and propaganda when they are running one man against another. Witness the last election! They were able to put George Bush back into the White House. But, there is a difference in promoting one person, such as Bush, and in promoting the entire failed Party in Congress.

So, what should our strategy be? Common sense would tell us to go after the Congress. That is where the opposition is weakest because Bush is not running again. If we can defeat the Republicans in Congress, the odds are the Democrat will win the presidency by default. Because the voters that vote for Congress will also vote their Party for President. It is to our advantage to attack this Republican Congress because we know they will attack our candidate for President. I think this is the key to winning back the Congress and the White House.

1. WE need to attack them everywhere. And we have to get rid of the
Crooked ass voting machines. We have to win back congress so big that can't steal it in 06. Then we have to impeach the chimp and keep his corrupt crones so busy answering Congressional subpoenas to continue looting and pillaging.

3. Better win some state legislatures first and redraw districts
Since only 4% of House races were competitive (decided by less than 10%)in 2004.

If Dems take back the House in 2006, then we have truly witnessed a tidal wave. I hope we can win enough state legislatures and put an end to the kind of gerrymandering that helps preserve Republican congressional majority.
