"Good morning, America! It's Friday morning, December 2nd, 2005, and I'm in Phoenix at the Democratic National Committee fall meetings. This morning I had the privilege of meeting with Gov. Howard Dean, Chairman of the DNC. I asked if I could get a photo with him and he said "You know they'll try to use it against you, don't you?"

This comment illustrates what I think is a serious problem in America today. We are more divided today than at any time I can remember in my lifetime. We have been divided by fear and hate to the point that we can't even remember all the things we have in common anymore. The Bush administration has used fear to divide us at every turn, and Tom Tancredo has used hate to do the same!"

This guy sounds very sincere to me.

They use Dean that way a lot. It is really sad to see this continue. I don't know if he got the photo. You need to post at the diary and see.

Nearly all the right wing continues to use him as the picture of fringe lefty activism....he says sometime they may get it right.

When the right goes after Dean, it tells me he is doing them damage. I am so comfortable with his as the DNC Chair. He can always do better as we all know but he is good for the Party.

Tancredo is one he goes after more than usual because of the immigration issue.

He figures someday people will figure out he never was that liberal. It is nice of him to say it to the guy, let him make up his own mind on it.

Bill Winter could win the seat for Congress from Colorado. It was really nice of Dean to warn him about using the photo with Dean "against him".
