Are we even looking for Osama anymore?
I am astounded at the lack of interest in the media about Osama Bin Laden and his whereabouts. Why aren't Democrats asking why after 300 Billion and 2100 deaths in Iraq, Osama still walks free?

3. Neocons like chaos
More chaos...More reasons for pre emptive war. Also, Rove needs to scare people in coming elections.

18. Hitler : Jews :: Bush : al Queda
it is the need for the excuses that Washington will use to justify the invasion of the rest of the Muslim world. bin Laden in some respects has become the same thing the Jews were to Hitler and Nazi Germany. A government with plans for world dominance needs a scapegoat.

7. Don't forget....
GW has a short attention span unless it's guns going boom-boom. He doesn't like playing hide-`n-seek, because it gets so boring looking in all those caves and under rocks. He'll find Ossie when it's convenient and wins him some points, which might be any day. God knows he needs them.

5. the Bin Laden family and the Bush family are close friends
papa bush and papa bin laden sit on the board of the Carlyle Group.
babs bush calls osama's uncle "Banbar Bush" because he's like a member of the family.
remember the cosy photo's of georgie and bin ladens uncle walking hand-in-hand on his last visit here?

bush needs bin laden free to keep his terra terra boogieman thing going.

bush also wants bin laden free so as not to piss off his good friends the bin ladens and the saudi royal family.

11. "Looking For Osama Or Someone Like Him"
Just like that Firesign Theater title, "Waiting For The Electrician Or Someone Like Him"!

In this case, I think we've already found someone like him. I think the guy in that 2004 election "tape of Osama" was really just someone very like him. Walter Cronkite thought so too... Osama is extremely tall... in the 2004 Bush election video of "Osama", the man is sitting behind a desk. That way, no one could gauge his height. There were other reasons given at the time, too, that pointed to the tape being a fraud.

Other "Osama" tapes have also likely been frauds, in my opinion.

14. "new 9-11"
Not meaning to joke about this but since their "new Pearl Harbor" was exposed and failed, maybe they are saving him for a "new 9-11". (right before the next elections?) We need to impeach him NOW!!(although that looks very unlikely)

16. Damn Good Question
People who respond to this post with "humerous" taunts are frustrated - we all are. Well, I am frustrated too. I am neither pessimistic or optimistic on this isuue (finding bu$h's buddy - OBL. I really do wonder what he is up to. If he shows up alive somewhere, and is caught, like "saddamn", I don't think it'll be the political cryptonite for the Dems it might have been a while back. In fact, some questions might be answered. Not to go off on a tangent here, but it makes me wonder who is killing of saddamn's lawyers?

If bu$h is ever caught for planning (directly or indirectly) 9-11, and lying about this war, and voting fraud, as well as numerous other scandals, I don't think it'll matter if every judge in the world is a bu$h, I believe in the basic nature of humankind (not with this evil family though), and bu$h will pay the full price for what he has done, so will his co-horts. It'll take the Dems to remind people that America really is a great place, and democracy always wins in the end, even if it has been gond for a while. I believe, I believe . . . . I have to.

17. osama is in pakistan. if he is still alive.
i bet musharraf knows his address. we probably do, too. but if osama is captured or killed in pakistan, musharraf will be held responsible. he will be overthrown in a coup as he overthrew the pakistani government in a coup. those who would come to power would likely be sympathetic to jihadist aims. pakistan has nuclear weapons. india would not like this. at all.

therefore, to preserve the status quo & the enemy we know (musharraf), and prevent nuclear war, osama's survival is the price.
