Conspiracy charges dropped on Delay?

Conspiracy charges dropped on Delay?
Got a CNN latest breaking alert saying that according to the AP, conspiracy charges have been dropped, but other charge will stand.

Anyone else?

3. From what I gather, the charges...
were dropped because of ex post facto. Delay committed the crimes before the conspiracy charge in Texas law was on the books. Basically, he was charged with a crime that he could not be charged with when he committed it. The dropping of the charges was NOT cronyism, just the law.

It still means Delay is under indictment for the money laundering charges and cannot resume his leadership position in the House.

And he can stil go to jail.
