12. The person to watch for is Gilchrist (AI). American Independent Party.
He could suck some votes away from John Campbell.

is toast.

The minutemen project is falling apart, too.

18. If Gilchrist stays at 20% or more, Young will probably get about 40%
if all the Democrats came out. Campbell might have trouble getting enough votes to declare victory. We really aren't gonna know how thigns turn out till the very end.

19. Registration is 2 to 1 repugnant. It is the home of the republican party.
Very extreme Repubs live her (like Gilchrist) to the "moderate" racists and warlords like Campbell.

Irvine and Laguna had its progressives, but isolated bits of sanity.
