Clark answering blogger questions online -- LIVE right now
http://securingamerica.com/ccn/node/2934

Ask him whatever you want while he's there. He'll be there for the next hour.

1. He is something else....
He's going through the questions and answering them one by one...He was supposed to be gone by 4PM but he's still there working his way through the questions.

A political figure who truly believes in dialogue with "the little people"...who doesn't just mouth it but actually acts it. Very nice indeed....

3. Oh, he really is!!
I was a Clark supporter way back when until he got out of the race and I never stopped admiring or wishing Kerry would have selected him as his VP candidate (would that have worked? we'll never know. but with the war being such an issue, I have to wonder).

I'd love to see him run again in '08!!

17. Since you asked
I wanted to avoid getting flamed but I have to ask....if someone started a thread that Clark blowed his nose would that also receive numerous greatest page nominations? What exactly was the big deal here? I don't see what is so inspiring. I don't want to start anything with his supporters but I would like to understand what the fuss is all about.

I have been real busy and was unable to participate! I read the questions and what General Clark had to say....and I agree with most of how he sees things, not so much because he's the expert....but also because he's looking at it from a wide range lens in where Iraq's neigbors have talked to him directly (don't know if that happened with others who are offering a "plan")to provide us with an insight into whatever chance we have of leaving the Iraqis with (cause in the end, they will pay in larger numbers than any of us).

The "out now" folks "think" consistently want to rationalize that we are the only problem....but opening Pandora's box has generated a myriad of problematic issues that many would rather not think about...cause the answers are not nearly as easy as stating "get out now, and things will work themselves out". We are not the only problem Iraq has, unfortunately.

When those Democrats who are advocating the "out now" position are blamed for 1/2 of what went wrong (the most important 1/2 of course is having gone there in the first place) by not looking through the wide lense, they will not have an answer......

Remember that Mr. Murtha voted AND supported this war to begin with. To now think that he has all the answers and his way is the right way is ridiculous. How could someone who was so wrong now be so right? Murtha's discussions with the troups can only have provided him with what is going wrong now....but it would not have given him the "insight" needed to know what the correct strategy to solve the various problems created by the invasion.

There is no Easy Exit....but there is a stratigical smart exit alternative possible nevertheless. Clark is advocating just that.....
