Did you know that today is Ann Coulter's birthday? Garrison Keillor had a nice little bio on her this morning on his "Writer's Almanac" on NPR. He played it like a straight bio, but it was actually hillarious. Keillor's tongue was planted so deep in his cheek that it must have been popping right through the skin.

This is heartening.

I totally agree with the students who contend that what Coulter says is hate speech.

I don't consider her worth listening to. I consider her NOT a political pundit, but a real partisan, neocon, amoral hack.

More pies, please?

Last time she moaned and groaned in her column at Townhall.com about how terrible it was that pies were thrown at her.

I wrote her to tell her just how much compassion I had for her (NONE).

What does she expect given the total lack of respect she displays all the time.

I don't have any desire to wander over to Townhall.com now, but if anyone wants practice dueling in words with Neocon bs, it is a fertile source.

17. This is something I don't understand...
why would students shut someone down from speaking? I don't care if you don't agree with what they're saying, but my generation actually fought for the right to speak when the administration didn't like what we and our speakers were saying. It's a slippery slope, regardless of how offensive coulter is.
Maybe it's just my age..
