Wash. Journal's Fri. bushgang love fest

Lamb opened with questioning the accusation that the media doesn't publish good news from Iraq.

only the military and contractors that had been to Iraq could call in with first hand experience.

(the whole thing felt like a set up)

many of the callers with good news seemed like plants. all their good news was schools and elec. with not much details.

many callers said the Iraqis were friendly at first then turned against them.

one chauvinist woman caller dissed peace mongers, pot smokers and tree huggers who wanted our troops out of Iraq.

PEACE MONGERS. how bizarre is it to be against peace? can peace be mongered?

Lamb seemed very pleased with his Fri show. smug in fact.

then on came Fred know-it-all Kagan spouting all kinds of lies. he's a military historian. one of the callers asked him how he could speak of the military in Iraq just because he was a historian. Fred puffed up and said he didn't have to be in the military to know what he knows, etc. blather, etc.

I had to go out then and missed the Wikipedia portion of the program. can anyone up date me on that? the bushgang seems to be on a get Wikipedia action this wk.

3. there are some good things going on in Iraq
and very little of it gets reported. Many on the right can't wrap their brain around the fact that all the bad things in Iraq and why we are there severly outweigh the good work that our soldiers are doing over there.

I've never heard the term "peace-mongerer" but I kind of like it. I may have to use that one.

6. Wiki: John Siegenthaler (sp?) (the elder, used to work for RFK)
had a wiki bio entry about him changed by swiftboat types to say that he was involved in the assasinations of JFK and RFK. This lie also was posted on many other web sites. He's pissed. He was one of RKS's pallbearers. I think he founded USA Today. In any case, the wiki entry is locked.
