A Sign that We are in the Darkest of Modern Times
When will this era of American Narcissism end? Every morning we wake to confront yet another attack on our sensibilities for political gain. I am disgusted. I am outraged. Quietly I resolve myself to my beliefs. These are the most evil of men.

2. I think that all of the war fetishists should form honor guards
to be present at funerals, burials, when remains arrive at airports, etc. These freaks continue to yammer on as if Iraq were the crowning glory of American history, an act of national will that is not just inherently good but inherently wonderful. Well, if it's all so fucking glorious those ghouls should be there for each and every body that comes back. I wonder what the cracker chickenhawks would think about the war after they actually spent time with a couple dozen corpses and a couple dozen grieving families.Ya know...they probably wouldn't feel any different, 'coz nothing can change their minds, but it would give me a sense of accomplishment. So there.

3. Overwhelming is it not? Now the question you need to ask yourself is
will we allow them to keep us so overwhelmed with these continued attacks on our entire system of government that includes so many issues at present that we become to numb to launch a reliable counter attack that will ensure they are stopped eventually?

Or will one feel as if they have become nothing more than a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming frieght train having lost the ability for being rational enough to exit what is surely a death sentence by standing still as if in shock....

Think fast, no time to ponder, either get out of the way or stand still, for some, they is exactly what they are facing...

4. A (Def Dept) representative said she did not know why this is happening.
I can help her out: It's happening because, to Rumsfeld and the other top Pentagon officials, dead soldiers are nothing more than used cannon fodder, to be disposed of in the most expedient manner possible.

6. I understand that when human remains are transported by air
they are shipped as "freight" from one undertaker to another. That said, why can't anyone take pictures of the freight at the freight terminal? What gives * the right to convert living Americans into "freight" for his bullshit war?

7. I am slightly hopeful . . .
. . . that a lot of formerly apathetic young people, and discouraged boomers like me, are going to turn off the damned TV this next year. Slowly, surely, the corporate lockdown on REAL news is crumbling. I am hopeful that next summer we will see the biggest protests in the streets of this nation since 1971. We're gonna be in those fuckers faces, and they won't know what to do. Get some gas masks, methinks . . .

8. From the article
"A representative said she did not know why this is happening." Isn't that the same sorry excuse that every member of this sorry ass administration uses when the get caught fucking up?
