just a little more rope....just a little more....
Sometimes I think we spend absolutely too much energy and brainpower on George W Bush and this Administration. Sometimes I think we might be better off to simply step back, take a deep breath, and leave them a while to their own devices. Sometimes I think they only survive through our opposition to them.

Give them just a little more rope. Give them just a little more freedom to screw up. Surely they will not disappoint. They will grab the rope and run off to hunt for those bad guys.

Stay close but not too close. Keep an eye on them so that they do not destroy heaven and earth but don't interfere. Give them just a little more rope. It could be fun.

Don't interfere with karma. Karma needs time alone. Leave karma in the room with Bush and the Republicans and don't think about what might happen. Think of a warm beach and seagulls and stepping on seashells with your barefeet. Think of the sound of the waves ahead of you. See the thunderheads appear above the tall palm trees. Clear your mind and give karma a chance to work. You will not be disappointed.

1. Awesome
I agree with you totally !!!!! There is a whole lot of karma coming down.
Willie Nelson wrote a song about that once and it is one of my favorites.I think it is called "Tougher than Leather".It is all about karma and reincarnation which he truly believes in .He also wrote a song protesting the
war on xmas 2003

... give them more rope, and they'll hang us with it and the Constitution, too.

Five years' slack is enough.

edit for syntax.

4. So you think it's time to tighten the rope already?
:)

5. Umm, those ropes are being tightened already...
... Plame, Abramoff in progress, and defense and CIA procurement scandals brewing. Katrina and FEMA won't go away. Neither will the body counts out of Iraq. Cheney, Rice and Bush openly lying about torture and extraordinary renditions (when the videos of children being raped are eventually leaked, all hell breaks loose in that regard). Cheney-driven Halliburton corruption scandals may poke up again soon.

Umm, how many nooses is that? :)

6. Only problem is before you know it 8 yrs have gone by
and you've got

Permanent tax cuts
Lots of military & civilian casualties
Jobs lost to outsourcing
stacked courts
empowered corporations

Kind of hard to undo some of that stuff overnight

7. No. Corruption only grows in darkness. We need more light shinning.
