Check out the picture and the caption on the CNN homepage...

(snip)
President Bush today accepted responsibility for going to war in Iraq based on faulty intelligence. "It is true that much of the intelligence turned out to be wrong. As president I am responsible for the decision to go into Iraq," the president said. Bush also called Thursday's elections in Iraq a "watershed moment in the story of freedom."

a few times but the link opens to a story about Iran leader: Holocaust a 'myth' and no sign of a poll, wondering if this is because I am in Canada or the extreme cold weather we are getting has slowed my thinking processes down to the point where I can't see the poll right under my nose?

37. You've probably got the International Edition.Look in the top right corner
of the home page and click on the link to 'U.S. Edition'. We don't have a free press in the U.S., so we get a different version of the "news" than the rest of the world.

And welcome to DU!

28. Weird poll...
If you hit yes, is it supposed to be in support of the president like his speeches have made you feel bad to better about Iraq. What if it had the opposite effect. Good to bad. I dont see how anyone could change their mind over a couple of speeches, but people are weird. Fuzzy poll.

35. Here's how the question should have read:
Has President Bush's tired old speech on Iraq, recycled recently on four separate occasions,
convinced you yet that he is God's chosen one to stabilize the Middle East?

o YES, BUT THEN I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED EVERYTHING GW SAYS. I SUPPORT THE TROOPS!

o NO, I NEED TO HEAR IT SEVERAL MORE TIMES BEFORE I'M CONVINCED. MAYBE IT WOULD HELP IF BUSH DUMBED IT DOWN A BIT.

o YOU'RE &%$&ING KIDDING ME, RIGHT? THEREFORE; I MUST SUPPORT THE TERRORISTS.

36. 69K minds still unchanged--stop wasting our $ on propaganda & save NOLA/MS
How much are these freakin' dog-and-pony-shows costing us? How many fallen heroes are being shipped as freight because our military aircraft are busy hauling the wannabe Prince's entourage around?

And yet they can't (won't) spare a lousy $350 million to bail out the power co:

No White House Bailout for New Orleans Utility

The BFEE should PERSONALLY bail these folks out -- nobody knows bailouts like the Bushes.
