Doublespeak: Bush's Comments on Iraq

Just when I ask myself how he can expect to get away with this, he does.

For the rest, they'd still support * even if he was caught on videotape molesting Make-a-Wish kids at Disneyland. Plus -- his spin is absolutely graceless and negates any claims of responsibility: he is saying that the intel was flawed but he is still insisting that his decision to invade was correct and that he'd do it all again. In truth, he has taken responsibility for NOTHING. And all of us who have been scratching our heads and saying WTF? for two years are still gonna be doing just that tomorrow. Believe me, I know the source of your pessimism, but I really, really like to think that the days are gone when * can skip out in front of the cameras, smirk, giggle and make everybody love him again. But ya never know....
