But if the Democrats snare a majority in the House, I anticipate with great relish the ascendancy of Chairman Waxman from California with the power of congressional subpoena.

Yep, let a few moderate democrats slide in there and damn we have an extremely powerful tool with Waxman. I still have goosebumps thinking about it

3. The picture got swapped once another website got ahold of it

I replaced it with a Most Wanted posted of George Bush.

They had started a thread about my ass but once the picture was swapped people were replying stuff like "What's so funny about that" since it wasn't my butt but the chimp

David Obey becomes Appropriations Chairman, Charles Rangel becomes Ways and Means chairman, John Spratt heads the Budget committee, Ike Skelton becomes chair of the Armed Services committee, and John Dingell would head Energy and Commerce....

A majority of those on the committee refuse to issue a sunpoena. Given that we would likely have at most a majority of ONE on each committee, then all it would take is one "DLC" Democrat who wants to "not antagonize" anyone to join all the Republicans.
