7. That was the same year he urged Americans to buy lots of Xmas presents
to boost the economy...and then as an example he bought a 59-cent pair of white socks that were made in China.

That was also the year he went to New Hampshire and talked at great length about how great a hardware store owner he had met four years eariler during the primary was doing under his economy--blissfully unaware that the hardware store had gone out of business, sunk by the Bush economy.

I also remember him on the campaign trail against Bill Clinton, suddenly starting to rant about "Vic Damone" and "Don't cry for me, Argentina"--his aides had to announce he was having side effects from Halcion.
