2. i couldn't believe my ears. he talked about him representing the

young men who did not want to go to vietnam -- that he was the first person to speak openly about this. how he went against johnson. i still can't believe it. tweety always keeps me guessing as to who's side he's on.

tweety has carefully partitioned his life history into before and after. His radical pot smoking hippy days were some other tweety. Now he is Serious Media Pundit Tweety and those are two different people. My guess is that he doesn't even see the parallels between then and now.
