I have a new word to propose: Bushi'ites.
What do you think?

Been using "Bushites" for a while. And "Bush's pod people." And a number of other descriptive names. But I think it's time to get even more descriptive.

"Bushi'ites," of course, refers to Bush's empowerment of the mullahs in Iraq, as well as to the mullahs on this end, here at home, who would veil American women and push them into the back tent, as well, if they could. Bushi'ites and Shi'ites both seem to want harems of women--good for creating cannon fodder and slave labor. Sort of the sum of all ignorance: Bushi'ites. We were "intelligently design" for THIS? For the 10th century? And for torturing prisoners, and slaughtering tens of thousands of innocents and looting the poor and the helpless? Some design.

The " ' " in the middle of "Bushi'ite" is the tiny black hole into which we will all fall if we don't toss these shi'its out on their ears real soon. Electronic voting machines and all. A planetary implosion. Nothingness. Disappeared. Kaput. Lightless. A Bushi'istic blip in the Great Cosmic Dance. They will never even know that we were here, and did try, for one brief shining moment, to create a civilization. Vanished into the '.

Bushi'ism has got to go, like all the other " ' "'s before it. Or we go. That is is our choice.

2. Works great in print
In conversation, not so much.

Better to start referring to "Mullah Falwell," "Mullah Robertson," and "Mullah Dobson," etc. That gets the same point across w/o the necessity of the diacritical marks.

But we *do* have to keep working the memes and frames and themes.

"bu-shit".

4. No, I was thinking more like, Bushi...i...i...i...
...kind of falling off a cliff....then...

...the bite of "ite." Saved by the bell.

It's like you're hesitating over "shit," and, not wanting to fall off that cliff ("Bushi...i...i..."), you rescue yourself with the shark bite of "ite."

Bushi'ite.

It's perfectly pronounceable. But you have to put a sort of "gag reflex" into it, like you might just vomit instead.

Or you could just do a smooth: Busheeite. That works, too.
