in Thief.

If you want to know what the Repukes are up to...just see what they are accusing Dems of doing. Here Norquist says that the Dems running are just pretending to put other candidates up when it's just a show and Hillary is the shoe in. Translation...Jeb is a shoe in (thanks Diebold) and the Repukes running will just be training for the VP spot.

Now I know why Hillary is being pushed so much by the media...check out the last paragraph.

Please read the whole post on the other link...I've edited it down because I think it's gone beyond the 3 paragraph rule

Hillary Clinton is a shoe-in to grab the Democratic nomination for president in 2008, but the Republican field is wide open, according to Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform.

Writing in The American Spectator, Norquist says that Clinton "will be followed around the nation by six or seven emasculated senators" who will "pretend to run for president while actually auditioning for vice president."

He mentions Sen. John Kerry, Sen. Evan Bayh, former Sen. John Edwards and Virginia Gov. Mark Warner among those who might seemingly challenge Clinton for the nomination, but in the end they will "suck up to Hillary," Norquist predicts.

Here is Norquist's take on the race for the GOP nomination:

But he saves his final remarks for Florida Gov. Jeb Bush:

"At present Bush is saying 'no' to the idea of a 2008 presidential bid. Some believe he should pass that year to avoid the appearance of a Bush Dynasty.

"But logic runs the other way. Only in 2008 will it be impossible for even the New York Times to argue with a straight face that we cannot elect one president's brother because we must elect another president's wife."

From NewsMax, of course.

3. I think you're missing the point.....It does not matter who the Dems put
up, they're gonna steal it for Jeb next time. Hillary is just the rebuttle for No Bush Dynasty.

2. There is NO doubt. Poppy and Baker control the nominations.
We'd be stupid not to see through this ploy. Hillary cannot be nominated for the Democratic ticket.

I've already picked my horse and the Bushies are scared of him.

5. I would agree with you, but I don't think we really have control over
that either. I never believe that Dean's ratings tanked after "the scream", just another cover story.

6. They started tanking in Dec 2003. The media hyped the scream to cover for
their own bad reporting and lies about the primary race.

It was already known in Nov.2003 that Kerry was stronger on the ground in Iowa than the media was reporting, and that Dean was already losing support.

You should be suspicious of why the media was over-reporting Dean's support and under-reporting Kerry's and Edwards' - I think they were trying to kill off Kerry's campaign by drying up donations to a campaign that was "dead in the water" for months as the media called it.

The media used the scream to make it seem as if Dean imploded suddenly and on his own, so they would not be questioned about their bad reporting and lies in the months leading up to the Iowa caucus.

BTW...voting machines are not used in caucuses. Peoples' BODIES are counted in a room.

7. You're correst Dean's ratings went down right BEFORE Iowa
which was BEFORE the scream - he came in way behind Kerry and Edwards in the caucuses (which of course have nothing to do with voting machines). Dean's "I don't want to be a pincushion" and his angrilly telling an older (very annoying) man to "sit down" hurt. His misfortune was that these were both in the last 2 weeks before Iowa - when a large gtroup of people were beginning to look at the candidates. (Kerry, in comparison, was re-united with the man he saved in Vietnam. That he somewhat shyly said that anyone would have saved him was icing on the cake and struck a chord of the modest hero.)

A better argument for Dean was the simulatneous appearance of Dean & anngry articles earlier that month - which likely were "validated" by the understandable episode with the old man. (That he was a heckler was lost on people.)
