The last person that does not need "oversight" is George W Bush...
This Republican Congress and Senate have been a rubberstamp for Mr. Bush. This is tantamount to putting a gun in the hands of a child. From his history, they should have known he would require constant oversight. From the time he was a child, blowing up frogs with firecrackers, to the time he was drinking and driving and losing his driving privileges, to the time he skipped out on his military obligations, to the time he sold his Harken stock under very shady circumstances, etc, he has required constant monitoring and oversight.

Now, we find out that he was spying on Americans. No one knows who or how many. No one knows if it was the anti-war groups or just his political enemies. A law was created because of the actions of Richard Nixon during the Vietnam War era, and Mr Bush, as is his history, chose to ignore it. The laws are made for other people, not him. Especially since he is President of the US...
