Thank you Cindy Sheehan. Thank you Michael Moore.
The two Americans who deserve the most credit for finally bringing Bush to admit the war was a mistake are Cindy Sheehan and Michael Moore. Cindy, you finally got a response. It's not a very good response. But, for the first time, Bush admitted that going into Iraq was a mistake. Of course, he also claims that it was for the best even though it was a mistake. But, in that part of his speech he was just trying to save face. We all need to demand that Congress investigate and that the Justice Department prosecute all those who perpetrated the fraud that led to this war. We need to make sure that no administration in the future lies to us like this one did. The only way to ensure that it won't happen again is to demand to know the truth and the whole truth. The airing of the facts and the purging of the corruption in the Republican machine is just beginning. Let's don't give up. Let's demand to know the truth. And if a few Democrats fall in the process, so be it. We Americans deserve a just and honest government. And we will never get it unless we make it clear that corruption and lies do not pay.
