Does anyone know if the number of Repubs. polled was higher in this Dec. poll than the Nov. poll? Somehow those polled are now 46%-52% approving/disapproval vs. 39%-60% in Nov.

The recent poll is a fluke and way off of average. The new poll is the last blue dot.

3. Could it be
that they increased the number of Repubs. polled in the later poll? Everyone on tv is pointing out this latest poll with such "great improvement."

Even if he did go up a notch... give the pollsters time to let Americans think about SNOOPGATE before they're polled again.

10. Washington Post/ABC polls
Are always higher for Bush. Don't know why, but it is. Worse than Gallup.

12. ARG and Gallup have polls out today...
Want to know where Bush stands in those?

At 41%.

Fox News... at 42%.

CBS/NYT... at 39%.

That should tell you something. BTW, ABC/WP had Bush at 39% .... once. Compared with others who had him at 35%, for several weeks.
