Are we "at War" or not??

is this "war on terror" a true - real - war?

is it a half or a war?

does the president have real war powers?

or is it all a fairy tale?

My take is, You cant declare war on terrorists, just nations

The rule of law no longer exists in any rational sense in America.

"Our" soldiers are killing and being killed, we're building new military bases not only in Iraq, but in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, most of the rest of the 'Stans, and who knows where else. Plenty of money is being made in arms deals.

Call it war, call it something else, it's all the same. Once again, we sit here debating the legality of what this adminsitration does, and they just do it. Or any administration for that matter. Our biggest military base(built by KBR) in another country was as a result of what Clinton did in the 90's in Europe.

Is the "War on Terror" a real war? Yeah, in that a powerful modern nation-state is expanding its military presense(including at home, since the Pentagon and countless other agencies are spying on us) around the world using it as a cover.
