9. It will of course come down to court interpretation.
I wonder how that will turn out?

5. As the late Johnnie Cochran might say
If there was a breach, you must impeach.

6. His guilt is clinched by his earlier denials in '04
he said all wiretaps had to go through a court and he affirmed that they were going through the court, in accordance with Constitutional requirement.

-BUT-

But he wasn't actually following those requirements, although he lied about it. He decided instead that he was above the law--he was the law. He was above the Constitution, and his oath of office was apparently pledged to himself alone and not the Constitution.

He knew very well he was violating the law that's why he prohibited Senators from speaking of it. That's also why he lied about it to the people when asked about wiretaps in 2004. That's why he tries to paint anyone who has a question about his compliance with the law as a terrorist auxilliary, a helper of terrorists.

An election even if you win it fairly does not make you KING in this country. There is no King, and the Constitution is supposed to guarantee us that there never will be. Bush wants to be King? Let him reign in JAIL.

8. The President violated the law.
Will this President be held accountable?

"Secondly, there are such things as roving wiretaps. Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires — a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we’re talking about chasing down terrorists, we’re talking about getting a court order before we do so. It’s important for our fellow citizens to understand, when you think Patriot Act, constitutional guarantees are in place when it comes to doing what is necessary to protect our homeland, because we value the Constitution." GW Bush

7. Here's what I sent:
Jack,

Simple answer:

United States Constitution - Article 2 - Section 4

"The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."
