1. Really,
me too.

I asked to be put on the Bill O'Liely Enemies of America list, but missed the cut.

5. Me too!
I picked my user-name especially.

Make sure I'm on that list.

It may be the only mark I make on this earth.

6. I heard that if you get a subscription to Mother Jones Magazine
you automatically get on the list. So I got a subscription.

13. Wonder if that is retro-active? We used to get it. Can't afford any
subscriptions now. Hell, I can barely afford cable and internet!

The whole of DU is surely on that list. Remember, we were all dissenters just a year ago?

7. Cheney and Rumsfeld have homes not far from where I live
I've been in the local paper a number of times in LTTE and as an organizer of local anti-war protests (most recently in a front-page article on the Cindy Sheehan vigil I put together).

Not only that, I've published a number of anti-war/Bush articles on the Internet since 2000.

I'm sure the Secret Service has at least had me on some kind of watch list, especially now that we know the Pentagon has been compiling that database of anti-war activities.

"Well, I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free..." :puke:

9. Or those pesky Canadian School Kids....
Just heard on Air America:

:patriot:
A GROUP OF HIGH SCHOOLERS AND THEIR TEACHERS CAME FROM CANADA TO PROTEST THE PROLIFERATION OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS, WERE TARGETED BY the N.S.A. AS A TERROR THREAT, DOWNGRADED TO A POSSIBLE THREAT BUT ALL OF THEM ARE FORBIDDEN FROM ENTERING THE US EVER AGAIN...............................................my country tis of thee, sweet land of liberty.......................how does that song go again?

10. Sadly, I will probably be like Munch on Homicide
who fancied himself a world-class dissident in the 60's, but later found out that his "file" contained only one sheet of paper, which wrote him off as a diletente.

12. I figure I made it...
I posed this question on another board:

What, if anything, would have to happen to make you consider arming yourself against the government?"

***Note to Agent Mike*** I own zero firearms, never even fired one, except for my brothers BB gun back in the 60's. :hi:

14. I bet I'm on it.
And I'm not even an American citizen. I'm Norwegian which should, I guess, be enough in and of itself to get on their lists (we give Nobel peace prizes to Mohammad ELBaradei and the IAEA.) However, my college boyfriend (I've studied in the US) is now in the airforce, working with highly sensitive intelligence analysis, and he's told me that everytime he needs his clearance renewed or upped, he must admit that he had a foreign girlfriend in college. I figure that made them check me out, and then my internet activity kept me on their list. Of course, since I'm decended from die-hard communists (my great grandmother visited the USSR during the height of the Cold War) I guess that would make me interesting as well. And I'm proud of it, even if it means that I've had to postpone trips to the US since 9/11.
