New Repug catch phrases...

Briefly watching the news (McLelland, Frist, et al) and noticed talking points (already!) from today's Senate activity. I counted the rethugs accusing Democrats of trying to kill (does it matter what you're talking about when you accuse someone of killing something) and to obstruct (coming from that group about as hypocritical an accusation as ever i've heard) at least 7 times in the span of 10 minutes. Also mentioned twice was Clinton authorizing "the same types" of surveillance as Bush. Really they were that vague.

People respect those associated with them....

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

that these are talking points from people with 25% approval ratings. Nobody believes what they say and only the hardest core Republicans give them support- and that only simply because they're not Democrats or selling out to Democrats. Everyone knows they're all just screaming because people slammed the lid on the cookie jar on them, it's their thieving hands hurting so badly that's making them howl and lie.

They're going to have to come up with a lot of popular appeasement stuff in January, the weaklings. The People is not quite killing them yet on a theory that they have a little useful stuff left to offer, i.e. some protection money to give, before they do the next idiotic provocations that force us to politically beat their skulls in with a brick.
