Q- What do Katrina and 9/11 have in common?
A- They were both storms that burst upon an unaware American populace. They had both been predicted well in advance. Warnings and prognostications had been forwarded to the Bush White House in both instances. Bush failed to respond in both instances. In one he read a book aloud to elementary school children while planes flew into American buildings or crashed into the countryside; in the other he schmoozed politically and ate cake in furtherance of his political agenda while people drowned or baked on highway overpasses as his henchman did a "heckofajob" ignoring them. They both perfectly exemplify the Peter Principle in United States politics of the early 21st century.

Bonus question - How many more Americans will have to die on American soil until Bush is impeached?

Double Bonus question - Exactly how many amendments and laws would Bush have to break openly and confess to in prime time television before he is impeached?

1. In Traffic, there was that hurricane joke..
What do a woman and a hurricane have in common?

They come in wet and wild, and go out with your house and car.

5. 'Pukes will never impeach one of their own no matter what IMHO and
nobody seems to care a lick about the lack of preparedness and failure to respond to the terrorist attacks known to be imminent.

On the bright side, if there can be a bright side, W was handed his trifecta which made for a fabulous year for him and Laura.
