3. I'm surprised that people are still
shocked at what's going on. I think the possibilities are without limits.

4. As stated above that is what it's been from the get go. And that...
has to be embedded into people's mind. It will save the nation and it will ensure a permanent rejection of Bush like thinking (lack of thinking).

5. This crisis also rises above party.
If the Republicans have half a brain they'll get on board with impeachment real fast. I posted the other day that if the majority of Americans believed it was just the civil liberties of "terraists" being violated - they would be ok with it. But if the American people found out that everyone's rights were being violated, they would rise up and rebel. I stick with that. The editorials in every paper in the country will unite on this issue. NO ONE is for this type of government surveillance.

7. Crisis has risen above party in the past. I don't know about today.
You look at the Republicans and few dare break ranks over anything. They're like robots. The Constitution means less to most of them than their bank accounts. I would be surprised if there was an impeachment prior to Democrats regaining the majority in Congress.

8. Why Are We at DU so Good With Talking Points
and the people who represent (?) us so bad. That should be the campaign slogan for 2006 for the Democratic party. Let's start making posters.
