http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,179736,00.htmlThough Christopher Flickinger calls himself "dean" and poses in parodistic photos waving a small American flag and looking stern, he says he's never been more serious about eliminating what he claims is pervasive anti-conservatism on college campuses today.
"When I was on campus, I had no help," the recent Ohio State University graduate told FOXNews.com. "I was harassed, intimidated, shouted down."
Flickinger, schooled in broadcast journalism, said he wants to provide the support he never had as a lonely conservative in college. That's why in November he launched the Network of College Conservatives to act in part as "a link for these conservative students, to let them know they are not alone."
Running the Web site solo from his Pittsburgh, Pa., home, Flickinger said he wants the network to be much more than a shoulder to cry on. Conservative students are still easy targets of liberal intimidation, he claims, but more than ever, they have a growing body of legal and activist support groups to turn to — and he wants his organization to be top among those resources.
:nopity:
Awww, poor little harassed Repukes. This guy is an asshat koolaid drinker. Our "liberal" paper, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette published this idiot's editorial ripping people for keeping their Kerry/Edwards stickers on their car. http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=6780For the love of God, please remove those "Kerry/Edwards" bumper stickers from your cars and trucks! In case you didn't get the memo, your side lost! It's like you're walking around with a big "L" on your forehead -- Loser!
I'm not sure why you still have that sticker on your bumper. Maybe it's been too cold outside for you to remove it. Maybe your post-election depression is so deep you can't bring yourself to take it off. Maybe you're living in denial. Maybe you've been too busy spreading lies and rumors about the future of Social Security and judicial nominations that you haven't had enough time to get it off your vehicle.
Or maybe it's even worse than I thought. Maybe you've tried, you've scrubbed, you've scratched, you've pulled and it just won't come off. It's stuck to the back of your Volvo or Volkswagen like a bloodthirsty parasite. But, then again, we are talking about John Kerry and John Edwards, two men who would have acted like ravaging bloodsuckers on the back of every U.S. citizen had they been elected.
Honestly, for your own self-dignity, it's time to remove the Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers.
Of course he's one of the yellow chickenhawks.http://www.pamspaulding.com/weblog/2005/11/dean-flickinger-on-iraq.htmlAs we expected, we find the recruiter of fine young conservative minds, "Dean" Christopher Flickinger, is a card-carrying member of the Yellow Elephant brigade. Here's his ballsy excuse for not stepping up to serve and take an IED for his Dear Leader, from the Conservatives On Campus web site (no, I'm not linking to him - I've given him plenty of hits already), in response to some "hate mail."
I'm not in Iraq because I don't have to be in Iraq. We have brave men and women who volunteer and dedicate their lives to fighting for our country so those of us back here at home may carry on with our livelihoods in comfort and security. But, make no mistake, Americans who cherish freedom and liberty will not hesitate to defend the values they hold dear.
And he actually digs in deeper, in a column for Human Events. Read this godawful bullsh*t:
The loss of 2,000 lives is tragic. In fact, the loss of even one life is heartbreaking. But, to pick some sort of magical "death toll number" as to when America should tuck its tail between its legs and run is down right un-American! They want to know, "How many more?" The answer is: "As many as it takes." The price of 2,000 lives over a two and a half year period - for the cause of freedom - is small compared to what our forefathers paid.
