Repugs Building A Dossier On Repugs .....
was thinking about this the other day in light of how all the Repugs stick together and vote the same and spew the same talking points.

When they first enter into a race and declare themselves a Repug and go the the Repug's for support of their candidacy I would assume the Repug party - before they throw their support to them - does a thorough background check. I would also assume that they must also sit down with the potential candidate and say "You need to tell us if there is anything else in your background (any skeletons) that would be damaging for you. You have to share this with us so we know how to defend you and support you should anything come out during the campaign".

Given this they begin to develop a dossier on every candidate and ultimate winner and continue to add to it as they hold office.

Then anytime they need to gather the support from these people they blackmail them and say - "Now you wouldn't want xxxxxx to come out would you".

Any thoughts?

1. No I don't think they do that - The republican party is the party of scum
they are the party that is breaking all the laws.
What the party probably does is look at the skeletons in their closets and then develop a spin and smear plan for each candid tate.
Spin the skeleton and smear the opponent or accuser.

There are no morals in the republican party

2. You're probably right.
We've seen, especially in the past five years, how low Repubs will stoop to gain advantage, to garner support they otherwise wouldn't get, to get their own 'on-side' on any issue.

Let's face it, any party that would smear actual war heroes like Kerry, Clelland and Murtha, obviously knows no bounds. To gather damaging information on each other, and threaten to use it when advantageous, would just be par for the course.
