Slip Sliding Away

Zogby finds Bush's approval dipping anew. The president is sub-40 once again, with an overall approval of 38%.

There's no commander-in-chief bounce either: Only 38% of both families with military members and veterans themselves support the prez.

"Perhaps most ominous for the President," said Zogby, "is that only 52% of self-described born-again Protestants give him a positive job performance rating."

While you're at it, DU that poll on the bottom right-hand side - 89% say Bush is impeachable!

1. Before I respond, let me take a moment to celebrate...

MY 2,000th POST! :party: :toast: :bounce: :smoke: :beer:

I had a feeling all the recent holiday-feel good poll bounce would dissipate quickly. It's no surprise about the military families - all the soldiers who come back and run for office seem to be running as Democrats. This will end up being huge during the elections.
