"a wiretap requires a court order"
Now by the way, anytime you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires - a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed by the way." Who said that and when? Why, President Bush did, at a Q&A forum in Buffalo, N.Y., on April 20, 2004 - about two years after he signed an executive order (and presumably had renewed it several times) authorizing wiretaps on U.S. residents without a court order.

1. In a recent e-mail exchange with a wingnut, I included this transcript
along with the video to answer his assertion that Buxh thought he was acting on the "up and up" by not obtaining warrants.

The reply came back that this was "out of context" and I was "cherry picking" quotes.
As if the next sentence was "...of course I don't mean I'LL have to get warrants".
Hahahahahaha

2. Of course, Clinton was the "lying" president... Their guy isn't Clinton
so there's no way he's lying. On the other hand, since the right loves to have it both ways, if he did lie it was to protect us citizens and not to hide any kind of illegal activity on his part -- like Clinton would -- which he is incapable of committing...
