US President George W. Bush stands in front of a Habitat for Humanity project which he assisted in building, in Covington, Louisiana 11 October. Four months after New Orleans and other Gulf Coast areas were leveled by Hurricane Katrina, efforts to help the region recover from the biggest disaster in US history have been hampered by political infighting(AFP/File/Jim Watson)

Another Hurricane Katrina PRESIDENTIAL ACTION PHOTO, taken WHILE THE DISASTER WAS IN PROGRESS: "...John McCain's birthday cake, which he assisted in eating..."

2. "Mr. and Mrs. Bush 'Make a Difference'"
Yeah, I bet they did. The real volunteers, you know; the ones that were still there, working, long after the
photo op, were probably moved a mile away and stripped searched in preparation for the royal couple's visit.

nation's number-one morning program in a special split-show from Covington, LA..."

4. He wouldn't know a hammer from his "hard hat" -
Habitat is an incredible organization; I've helped on a few homes here. People come to Fairbanks, Alaska!! as volunteers, paying their own way, spending their own money, on their vacations - just to help build a home for someone who needs it. The pResident wouldn't care to "volunteer". He'd recruit some, to hell with the house, send 'em to Iraq.

Asshat Shrub goes to Crawford and "cuts brush". Wonder if it was Laura's?
