Why do we have to have protests and petitions to get this president

impeached? Wasn't Clinton impeached by rabid Republicans? I don't understand why the Democrats just don't do something. Was the Senate mostly Republican or Democrat when Clinton was in?

The list of impeachable offenses if huge and yet no one has filed. Some say they are waiting for the next senate which will hopefully be Democrat. I say that is too damned long to wait.

Something is very wrong with this picture. I seem to remember Clinton having an approval rating in the 60's during his impeachment so the general public was not in favor of it yet it happened.

The way the GOP runs the House right now, the minority has no power, they can't force votes, they can't hold hearings, there's just not a lot they can do.

The trial happens in the Senate, and even if Democrats control it, you need to get a supermajority of senators agreeing to convict, and this is about as likely as me winning the lottery, and I don't play the lottery.

hypocrites. The law is not there for them to obey, for they are above the law. The law is only for Democrats and common folk.

7. I'm afraid most Repub House members

(and Senators for that matter) have largely discarded any ethical standards in favor of political expediency. They are all so compromised and corrupted that the only option left is to "lie, lie and lie some more" and to stonewall while trying to hang onto their jobs. SG
