2. Seems like I remember at least one of them being released.
German?

In the rush of everything else it was hard to keep up.

11. Are you talking about Schulz, the electrician from Alaska?
I think there was a video of someone ultimately being killed with his picture or passport. There was some question at first of whether he was really dead, even though someone had claimed credit, but the video seemed to settle the matter. That was the last we heard about it up here, and the coverage was pretty extensive for a few days.

7. They probably postponed the "hostage crisis"
.....So the treasonous Blackwater sons of bitches holding them could spend the holidays with their families.

8. There has been NO communication at all since the last deadline
passed. No word at all whether they are still alive or not. They have not been released from what I have read. The Canadian news covered it during the Christmas holidays with the families.

9. I had exactly the same question while driving today. I'm glad
we don't have news that they were lost.

10. German captive Susanne Osthoff was released.
Tom Fox and his three companions, all members of the Christian Peacemaker Team, have not been accounted for. Their captors had said the four would be executed if all prisoners in Iraq were not released by a certain date. The deadline was extended, then passed, and nothing has been heard.

I would recommend checking the BBC website periodically for answers. As one of the captives is British (the other two are a Canadian and a New Zealander, I believe), they give updates. I checked today and learned there was no new information.
