I was just wondering how Mississippi is doing after Katrina hit
compared to New Orleans - seeing that they have a republican Governor.

Have they gotten a better response to their plight?

2. Most importantly....
Did Senator Lott get his summer home rebuilt? It was sure hard on Chimp when he saw his bud down to only 3 homes. :sarcasm:

3. Lott is NO FRIEND of the Monkey
The Monkey used the Strom business to jerk the rug out from Lott and install the more malleable Frist. Lott had actual power as a Senate leader, Frist has only the power Rove gives him.

Lott wants revenge, on a number of fronts.

Guess who was the FIRST Senator to call Trent and make an offer of help? And who followed through with a planeload of stuff?

John Kerry.

6. He's suing his insurance company
Unlike many there, he had flood ins.
It caps at about $150.000. His place is worth $300,000.

He says it was wind damage, not water damage.
Like the poor people without the flood rider say.

5. It's a big mess
Still looks as if the storm happened last week. A friend just got back from there last weekend. You can get around town by dodging damaged roads and debris. It is no where near normal.

See for yourself. Intheflow posted these photos a couple of days ago.

Lott is pissed at Junior. Haven't heard anything much from Haley Barbour.
