3. Why does this administration spend so much time and tax dollars
on spying/informing our own citizens? It's like this war on terror is really a war on American citizens.

4. not 'like'. there is only one war and we are their enemy.
Its hard to believe that the military can legally use our money to market and propagandize us.
This needs to be changed. If there is a law, enforce it, If not, pass one.

7. You're right.
Since nearly 60% of American's disagree with Bushco, then these American's are the terrorists.

Funny that our tax dollars are spent trying to coerce us in to believing in Bushco.

how much do they pay the "trolls under the blogs"?

8. That's right. Military personnel planting stories on blogs.
Edited on Sun Mar-05-06 09:38 AM by Neil Lisst
Hundreds of them.

People who couldn't pass freshman history or political science are acting as cheap shills for the Bush administration, spreading propaganda that they are spoon fed by their superiors.

9. Astroturfing.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astroturfing

In American politics and advertising, the term astroturfing describes formal public relations projects which deliberately seek to engineer the impression of spontaneous, grassroots behavior. The goal is the appearance of independent public reaction to a politician, political group, product, service, event, or similar entities by centrally orchestrating the behavior of many diverse and geographically distributed individuals.

10. How pathetic is that?
We're going be paying for the annoyance of having to whack CENTCOM moles.

Honestly, don't they have better things to do with their time and our money?

11. of course they do!
Rhetorical question, but a valid one.
This administration is 99% spin. A HUGE effort is being put into APPEARANCE...that's the hallmark of the * Administration, in my opinion.

What gets told to the public is not necessarily connected in anything resembling the truth. If a lie sounds good, then that's their statement. It's all spin. The MSM are bought and paid for. That wasn't enough? Now the internet needs to be infested with moles paid to be * sycophants!? I'm thoroughly disgusted, but not surprised.

The * Administration wants the American people to shut up and bend over.

14. Yes, they are famous for putting lipstick on pigs in this Admin
However, their lipstick is fading and more Americans are seeing them for the pigs they are.

It's funny that they'd assume that bloggers, many of whom already know their propaganda tactics, won't tear them to pieces.
